Here is some good news for NOD32 users who are tired of getting their keys blacklisted. If you follow the method described below, you will no longer be needing a key to update your copy of NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 or ESET Smart Security (and this works with trial versions). The process does not involve cracking or doing any sort of modification to the core files of above mentioned programs.
 


 
 

 

 

 


What is an alternative update server?

From creator's page:

"This mirror have the purpose to offer updates to eset security products (for any product, 32 or 64bits). This is a direct mirror from eset update servers. This way you can continue to use this security products after the trial. I'll do my best to keep this updates running so far I can. There are hourly checks between this server and ESET servers. This is an automated system so the updates will be brought to you for sure. Fell free to create regfix and similar "patches".
 


What are the supported products?

As of now we have tested the server with all version 3 series releases of ESET smart Security and ESET NOD32 Anti Virus system. This includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Will it work forever?

There is no guarantee that it will work forever. It has been 10 days since server launch and has been working fine since. If the creator decides to pull the plug on the server, there will be no more updates. Only solution will be to apply a patch or to find another update server
